Chest pains

Chest pains

A Poem by Thisismythearpy
"

This was written when I was experiencing chest pains when I ran away from home. Like all my work, this is from the notebook I kept when I ran away.

"
Clutch your chest, feel the pain
Too bad the problem is with your brain

A chemical imbalance, memories you can't forget
So many ways that have failed to numb it

Your health declined
All because of your mind

A broken heart
No obvious way to restart

The price I paid was my sanity
Do you realize that, or you too absorbed in your vanity?

If I really saved your life
It would have been harder to give up mine

You didn't even put up a fight
So I lay with chest pains every night

Will we ever make it better?

We might
We just can't lose sight

I'm not much of a writer. This is just stuff I wrote in a notebook when I ran away. Every day I've been publishing a few pages or so. There's no telling when they'll run out.

Hello, my name is Chris. I just post the stuff I wrote in my notebook when I ran away home a little while ago when trying to run away from depression, ptsd, and what all caused it all. I'm dead inside.. more..
