Lady Celexa

Lady Celexa

A Poem by Thisismythearpy
"

Like I always say, I can't write. This is just a coping mechanism to get out pent-up emotions.

"
You left me alone, so I got someone new.
But she's not someone flesh and blood like me or you.

She saved me from myself, and she didn't ask for a thing.
But was she truly good to me?

Her name, unlike yours, doesn't catch on my tongue.
Her heart wasn't something to be won.

In fact she doesn't have a heart at all.

This mystery woman has a name we all know.
A name known from the young to the old.

Celexa.

She saved me from myself, but she didn't save me from you.

She filled up holes, but you tore others wide.
So please, crawl back inside.
