Burn

Take this match and light it

Put it to me skin

Let it burn its scar

Of black and red

I enjoy the pain

Like a tattoo

It stains the skin

My scars are just that

Scars of my fallers

Paint me a scull and cross bones

Cut me to pieces

Just kill me

It will be my greatest treasure

Everywhere I go

The lies of smiles

They do not show off their scars

Not like I do

I am happy I have gone through hell

You all can be fools

Pretend heaven will forgive your sins

This ‘god’ is not going to forgive

What you deny inside

We are all hopeless beings

Who want?

And want

But don’t see what we need

I am thin

From hunger

I am shaking

In fear

I am sleeping

In the cold

Well you eat your fish

Your cow

Your meat!

You kill to eat

Eat me instead…

Because animals just want to be, free

Wow! This had alot of protein angst in it! xD
Hmm.. Trading off animal for human steaks... GROSS! Ewe...
While i may not be able to give up the occasional cheeseburger. I do think others have a choice to not eat meat if they prefer.
You make a good point Angel about people hiding their scars. I think alot of people are just scared of ridicule.

I like the flow on this one. It's fast and packs alot of energy!
