A Freak of Nature

A Freak of Nature

A Poem by Angie

A freak of nature

I seem to be

born under moon

and swaying tree

and in between…

darkness and

pale moon light

within me

a space was born

craving the wild

and unadorned

this calling

this restless ache

drives me wild

and

keeps me healthy

like a child

the pines tower

temples tall

owls in the mystic

call

me home...

like a stray

taken in

longing for

freedom

this place inside

is Never full.
