Table Wine Happiness
A Poem by Angelynn
A poem on mental health
Your happiness flows like wineSaturating your every moveIt drips off your lipsAnd colors your worldIt’s ever plentifulAlways there, a constant companionBut my reserves are dryAnd I ache for a taste of the life you knowTo smile without thoughtTo laugh contagiouslyTo be free of the torment insideBut alas, my bottle is dry

A fine first poem, Angelynn. Using wine here works well, and I certainly read the mental health elements in this piece. The speaker conveys a loneliness and longing for connection, as if she's sitting alone at a fine restaurant, waiting for a date that never comes or calls.
This is a good site to help you develop your creative writing skills. Many exceptional writers and advisers here. Best to you.
