what if...

what if...

A Poem by Jola

Under closed eyelids
concealed behind the curtain of dreams
you are immersing yourself into the next dream
where is happening whatever you want
... and if tomorrow will come
and you will open your eyes
what the life can surprise to you
how you will fill empty spaces
how you will revive the dead look
... and if tomorrow will come

whether then you will wont to see
          All your soul

This is a fantastic write. What is dream and what is reality and is there a difference? Do we want to look deeply into ourselves? Your poem really makes me ponder that.
Good job.

Curiosity keeps me going.

We seem to be unable to truly understand ourselves
And do we want to?

Lovely poem made great by the illustration.

I like the deep thoughts in this piece. The picture goes well with it as the pouring rain tends to make me melancholy as I contemplate and reflect on my life.
