There is no substitute for god's healing but the pill popping general population will never understand this despite the pains they suffer they are only masking the issues which need to be sorted for their pain is that of neglect to their body,soul and mind.
The pharmaceutical companies are making huge fortunes with the help of ill conceived advice from doctors who should be struck off.

Health requires a holistic approach, and though some would go about seeking remedies for various illnesses they would do little to address the cause while chasing symptom after symptom. This is not to say that medications do not serve their place in the grand scheme of things, for to forsake such would simply once more not address health from a holistic approach. I have to say that I disagree in regards to Nekolas' blanket statement in regards to God's healing. One cannot pray a headache away, in my most humble opinion, but one might find that they can pray away the stress that could bring about a headache. So each would be the treatment for each, neither actually able to replace the other. We cannot turn our back on medicine anymore than we can turn our back on some form of spirituality, though this can even be the simple belief in something - with nothing, we have a void - which we tend to seek to fill with all the wrong things. We lack that substance which would otherwise help us weather the storm. It is not about being able to shrug off everything we face, but rather it is about being able to face all that we face instead of withering before the natural onslaught of time which may appear to oppose us at every turn.
