Tsunami: Wave

Tsunami: Wave

A Poem by Naomi Montana Walsh
"

Was just thinking of the people who must live through this..or who don't

"

Tsunami

wave of destruction

wave of confusion.

Tsunami

Tectonic plates to blame.

Wave goodbye

as your sense

of security slips away

as your heart swells

and crashes.

Entertain

the thoughts of one who sits safely

at home and watches.

A wave of fear

A wave of realization

Nature does not discriminate.

Tectonic plates to blame.

it is one of the most fascinating things to watch..the sheer force of the sea..frightening..of course..but nature sometimes flexs her muscles and we are humbled in her presence..

Thanks for writing this for the people of Japan.
Well done and so sad the horrors they are going through.
Prayers for their safety.

very nice. the way you wrote it gives it a sense of movement almost like a wave, like the long lines are the wave forming then the short lines are when it crashes. I also wrote a poem about the tsunami, check it out please I'd love your opinion :)
