Dear X.

Dear X.

A Poem by Naomi Montana Walsh
"

too all the friends that did not get me, and to those I did not get.

"

Dear ex friend.

I am sorry , I broke your rose colored glasses and now you can not see.

Dear X , can I call you X?

It seems to me you wanted wine and roses and I gave you poetry.

Dear X. this is so like me, so unbelievably out of tune, I still can't for the life of me figure what song that was that you were humming, and when you asked me to sing along, I missed every note.

Dear X. that was totally my fault and I do agree that we can never agree.

You wanted wine and roses and I gave you poetry.

Dear X. I was told it was the thought that counts

and it is true , I did not think too highly of you.

This I think is the key, that you also did not think highly of me.

I always wanted Poetry.
