Happy...Healthy, Wealthy and Wise

I went through , some scary things.. now behind me.. this is about getting back to normal

 

Confessions, digressions

stress related illnesses , delusions, conclusions.

Wake up get dressed

you passed the test.

Stop, trembling it makes you look weak don't hold your breath

it's safe to speak.

Stand tall or look small.

I am, happy , healthy. Wealthy, and wise

under the mask, sans disguise.

oh i ve gone through this a lot
it times when you feel so bad ,the the whole world or life is like
enclosing you outside..like no more wanted..illness delusions.depressed
then you get dressed,something like great strength suddenly pulls at you,to stand
yes ,you passed the test..its not for all..you ve been brought down only to rise and stand taller
i always felt it ,it like a mighty power do this to me..its like a calling..to refresh
and you speak and you sing and you feel and hear your words
then i am healthy happy and wealthy ,just like you said

It takes very little to get us to the happy, healthy and wise parts. I don't figure I'll ever see the wealthy. I can't imagine that I'll miss anything . . . of course, there is tremendous wealth in a carefully painted sunset and tremendous joy in the autumn skyline. I'll take that.

There is a Hallmark kind of feel to this short poem, but that's not entirley bad considering the topic and aparent intent of the writer. I do struggle with the change of voice from 'you' throughout to 'I' in the last two lines. I like the very last line a lot. I'll look at more of this writer's efforts.
