English Muffins and Coffee

this morning ..

 

He wakes too late or perhaps , I wake to too early..

I grow hungry and drink too much coffee

I think the English Muffin with apricot preserves

Will make it possible to wait til 11 for breakfast

I hate that I ate that muffin and did not wait for him.

I want to make him breakfast and eat with him ..

Now he must wake late..

The muffin must be breakfast and breakfast must be lunch.

Why do I think the muffin is evil?

Because my scale is ?

Nope, it's me..impatient, can't wait til 11 for breakfast.

A better person would exercise in the morning .

A better person might have a healthier habit.

I write poems about muffins and coffee

a better poet could save the world.
