Ignorance and BlissA Poem by Naomi Montana Walshwell it's not always bliss..
Oh, you stupid thing If ignorance is indeed bliss then why aren't you smiling? She laughs and feigns sincerity But the undertow of turmoil disturbs her plasticine face. She knows .. far to little about her own suffering other than she must assume we are all suffering too.
If ignorance is bliss, then why does she hurt herself so with it?
I bare her with grace that stupid little thing I give her innocence for her ignorance and I wish her bliss.
