What are you?A Poem by Naomi Montana WalshI think I am addressing my own worries in this one and how they never make a lot of sense and seem more a distraction
Are you just a wall? Another symbolic image of my disregard for truth? Or are you just a memory that managed to pull itself loose? Strings of words that won't subside , strings of thoughts left untide. Are you a wall between sainthood and me? Do you untie yourself or do I set you free? Are you my better half or the half that holds me back? Are you the rope or are you the slack?
