I missed a sigh

I missed a sigh

A Poem by Naomi Montana Walsh
"

too busy to cry

"

I missed a sigh

it slid down deep into my being and hit the bottom with a soft thud.

Pity the poor thing it could have been a tear.

It could have manifested itself in a million ways

Had I liberated it

Life was moving so fast at the time .

That Sigh slid down deep into my being and later

it became poetry.

interesting thought, that poetry might be a stifled sigh. or even a stifled scream for that matter. poetry can be a purging or catharsis of all kinds of emotions or hidden thoughts.

thought provoking little poem, you wrote here. very cool.

yes! That is how all poetry begins
Deep down inside, makes the most wonderful poetry.
