or Pearls before Swine

There are reasons you should never cast pearls before swine , and it is quite simple , pigs don't know pearls from poop .

You can not blame the pig for it's ignorance.

Of course we are not really talking pigs and pearls here,

The pearls or words of wisdom and the pig is simply someone who can not gain benefit from those words due to their lack of understanding, therefore the words are wasted and all you end up with is a pig in a pearl necklace.
