Alone is an illusion

Alone is an illusion

A Poem by Naomi Montana Walsh
"

A poem about How all we do effects others

"
The artist formerly known as Cat Stevens wrote..
" Sitting on my own not by myself everyone is here with me
I don't need to touch your face to know. I don't need to use my eyes to see.

The illusion of being alone
We are utterly never alone if nothing else there are the ghost
Those spectral thoughts we live with from our past.
All that head space we have shared
The impressions they leave.
Alone and lonely two different things.
Truly there is a condition of loneliness isolationism.
That eccho chamber of thoughts that feels like ourselves and yet..
Who are we?
We are magnetic fields and crossfire for all we come in contact with.
Fractions and divergence of such.
So that even in our lonesome we set with those aforementioned specters..
Alone is but the passage of time inbetween outside input and processing..
Transmissions come on the breeze birds chirp and car doors slams
Dogs bark .
How is it that more more people do not write poetry .
I.mean what to with all this company in the illusion of alone?
