~Melodies~

A Poem by Kendra

~~~~~
Hold me still. Cradle the falling icicles.
Desperate and lonely we have become fickle.
Cold and alone.
Gentle breaths break our brittle bones.
.
..
...
Shattered.
~~~~
Spinning and turning in the whisper of the wind,
dancing to a rhythm that impersonates our brand of sin.

~~~~
If you look into the water,
into the reflection before I startle
it. I (you) have had a revelation.
All is well before my (your) segregation.
~~~~

If it means a lot to me (you)
You'll disregard me as I (we) fall from the unseen.
I'll (you'll) let myself careen downward.
Until we have become like gold personified through these ashes.
And You (I) swim through this sea as my (your) world crashes.

~~~~
One in the same, to each we are our own.
.
..
...
Which then turned into a saddened thought.
....
.....
......
and I here I (you) sit, no matter the cost,
.......
........
I(you) am what you(I) have always sought.
~~~~
