Reflect

Reflect

A Poem by AngeloRosell

In search of the core

Enlighten man’s explore

Known are these emotions

Inside all these illusions

To write freedom on your walls

Dance through shopping malls

The chase is something real

Lies can no longer conceal

The truth needs to be told

By those who think they are bold

To awake those in a sleep

Hiding in the deep

Raise your hand to the sky

To the point you feel high

There’s no time to say goodbye

When your will is standing still

A top of a grassy hill

When silence captures you

There’s nothing left to do

But fly off like a dove

With all your inner love

Some of the end rhymes lapse into sing song, as end rhymes can so easily do, and end up sound limerick-like. that, dome a bit more extremely, would add a current of satire more emphatically to the poem.
these lines stand out and are stellar:
Known are these emotions
Inside all these illusions
