Hiding Deep

Hiding Deep

A Poem by AngeloRosell
"

" What lies behind you and what lies in front of you pales in comparison to what lies inside you. "

"
Come out, Come out
Who ever you are
A gifted creature
Who's face that folds
When the whistle blows

Won't you step out
And show me your eyes
I feel the presence growing within
Afraid you are so you hide
Far, Far away
In a skin pitched tent
With lights gone out, but
Audio replaying
Subtle whispers to piercing alarms

Your where bouts are masked
Deluding actions of seekers
Love giving animals with support
Your cries go silent, unheard

Simply lower the bridge
So all can exist
Quit icing your trail of existence
So all that pass will fall

Never to be found but left alone
To wollow in doubt and shame
The mysteries are discovered
I know who you are, so
Can't you hear me knocking ?

So much truth in this piece...who hasn't hidden? Many of us still do...great work

I like this poem so much. We all hide to a degree, men maybe more than women. But you are right. Staying locked tight inside our skin tents will only increase the pain. Hopefully, everyone has someone who will listen. Great job.

Hidden inside us all are the answers that we seek but they are so elusive. I like your first statements within the first line. I think they say a lot. 'Afraid you are so you hide' (weird statement) Good poem.
