A nifty vignette for dreamers. And nice metaphor/image choice. I can just imagine someone laying in bed, cutting off the light, rolling on one side, and then after a few moments, we hear a projector reel start up and two projector beams pierce the dark and land on the far wall.

wow!!! how clever way to describe unconcious brain activity. And dreams are indeed a kind of a movie.
The most interesting part was the "action star". Who is the actor/actress?
Well, as you say on your profile description, poetry may have lots of interpretations, here is mine:
I see a movie, which scenes are made of memories, and the action stars may be many persons. Subconscious mind interprets real world, and gives us those remissions. Maybe that's why we sometimes dream incoherent things? anyway, they are always a reflex of what we have experienced our hole life. Maybe the black clean wall is the mind, in which the whole "other reality" is masterly constructed.
This poem reminds me the movie "Inception" (exellent movie by the way), 'cause it describes dreams as an alternate reality.
Poetry is expression. You create guidelines for human thought with every line you put down, anyone who reads it will interpret something totally different and that's why I enjoy writing. more..
