Sadness and mania

A poem of truth

Living a cycle of mania and sadness
Living in a void of purely emptiness
Fighting for something purposeless
Fighting for something truly senseless

Trying to find your perfect isoline
Trying to find a silver line
Always saying that you are fine
Trying to keep things sublime

Maintaining that tough persistence
Maintaining strong resistance
In this certain moment and instance
Trying to shorten the distance

Attempting to free the powerless
Attempting to spread the selflessness
Though it reeks in hopelessness
We still try to fight nonetheless

I'm hardly an expert. I would say that though it's not wrong, keep poetic license in regards to rymn and structure to a minimum
