Chapter 18A Chapter by Angelique
I woke up earlier than usual this morning, so I took my time getting ready for school and left at quarter to eight. Slowly making my way to school.
"Someones up early." Jordan said as I walked into the school grounds. I shot him a piercing glare to tell him I wasn't in the mood to talk to him. "And angry." He said in a low enough tone so that I could still hear it. "Leave me alone." "Sorry, sorry. I will but..." I sighed and stopped walking. "What do you want Jordan?" I suddenly felt his presence right behind me and I turned around to find him only centimeters away from me. "A second chance." He whispered. "Why should I give you a second chance?" " Because I am a selfish loser and I wasn't thinking straight." "I don't know if I can forgive you Jordan....You will probably just do this to me again." "I promise I won't." I stood there thinking about it. "I'll tell you what, I will give you a day to think about it. I will catch up with you at the end of the day to see what you have decided. If you do decide to give me another chance, then maybe we can go back to my place. Just us two." I knew I wanted to smile, but I didn't want him to know that it would be this easy. "You really hurt me,but I will think about it." I told him not looking into his eyes. "Great, thank you Cece." "Cece." Eve called out from under a tree, she was sitting there by herself probably waiting for Abigail to show up. I walked over to her and sat down. "What's happening?" She nodded to the scrapbook on her lap." It's Oliver's going away present." "I think it's really sweet you doing this for him." She shrugged and smiled genuinely at the scrapbook. "It's the least I can do after everything he has done for me." I wrapped a comforting arm around her. "I bet you he'll love it." "I hope so." I giggled in reply. "Oh, I forgot I still need to get some pictures of you." "What? Why me?" "Because you are Oliver's friend to." I dropped my head down. "What if I'm not by the time he leaves town?" "Oh, I highly doubt that." "I don't know." "Come on Cece, it will be fun." I bit my lips, "Okay fine." "Yay. How about on Saturday you sleep over at my house and then we can take some pictures?" "I'd like that." I smiled. Eve and Abigail were the only two female friends I had made here so far. Every other girl just glanced at me and din't want anything to do with me. In fact everyone in Jordan's circle of friends didn't want anything to do with me except for Jordan. Anyone who is Oliver's friends has taken me in willingly. It made me fee accepted and for that I was glad.
