Chapter 11A Chapter by Angelique
I walked out of my second class with Oliver and Jordan immediately came over and wrapped his arms around me, cutting off Oliver's smile.
"I didn't see you this morning," Jordan mumbled. I squirmed out of his arms,"I overslept." "Oh, that's understandable." He placed a hand on my shoulder and looked at Oliver. "Can I help you?" Oliver glanced at his brother and then at me with a smile. "Catch you later Cece." Oliver walked off in the opposite direction. Jordan placed a hand on back and ushered to to the cafeteria. "Since when are you so buddy, buddy with Oliver?" "He offered me a lift to school this morning as he saw me walking." "You should have refused." "And be later than I already was?" "Yes!" "What's your problem?" I demanded. "What do you mean?" "Why, are you so bipolar?" "Why don't you trust my opinion over Oliver?" I looked at him. "I just moved to this school. Then the first person I meet is funny. Then the second person I meet tells me to completely ignore the first one without a valid explanation. He only wants me to stop talking to him because he doesn't like him. Because he got what he didn't. Jordan, that is low. Oliver is a nice guy and he hasn't hurt me. So why should I ignore him, just because you instructed me to?" Jordan looked down, "Because he is going to take me from you." "I am not an object Jordan! He can't just steal me from your locker or something." "That's not what I meant...You see Cece...I like you. A lot..It would really bother me if my brother got you as well," he whispered and looked up at me. "We just met," I muttered. "And it feels like I have known you forever." "That's impossible." "I thought so too...But Cece...Do you realize how pretty you are?" "Ah, no." He smiled, "Well you are." "So you stated." He poked his tongue at me and smiled, "But do you see what I am trying to say?" "Yeah I do, but if you care about me, the you are going to have to trust me. Oliver is Just a friend." Jordan bit his lip, "Fine, I will leave on one condition." "Oh gosh, I am scared." He grinned, "You should be." "Okay, what is the condition?" "Go on a date with me Friday night." "Oh and where can we possibly go?" He smiled, "You'll see..." "I don't know, will your friends be there?" He shook his head. "Just you and me." I smiled. "I think I'll like that." "It's sett;ed then." "So what does Jordan want now?" Oliver asked me as we made our way to our third class. I bit my lip, pondering if I should tell him or not. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to...But I promise that I won't tell anyone. I won't even tell Jordan." As I looked at Oliver, I realized that I wanted someone to confide in. "After school." "Sure, I will pick you up at you house so that Jordan doesn't get jealous." "Do you know where I live?" "The old Queenslander." "How did you know?" "Was the only vacant house here. Everyone who stays there always leaves." "That's odd." Oliver shrugged, "Not to us." It was silent for awhile as we sat in our seats next to each other. "I am sorry for being a jerk towards you on your first day." I smirked. "You weren't being a jerk. You were just mimicking my attitude." "Well you do have a bit of an attitude..." I flicked his arm and he snickered. The teacher entered the classroom and everyone started to slowly quite down. I watched Oliver as he opened his book and picked up his pen, ready to write. He casually flicked his hair out of his eyes. Why does Jordan want me to stay away from him, what was the purpose of all of this?
