Chapter 3

Chapter 3

A Chapter by Angelique

"I need my class schedule," I stated not bothering with any greetings.

"Of course, are you Cecelia Bloom?"

"Is there any other new students in this bore of a town?"

Her smile faded a bit and the plastered it back on tighter,"You are a funny one aren't you?"

I continued to stare at her, my face clearly stating that she didn't amuse me.

"Grade twelve is attending science right now. It's the block just down the path. You should see the sign."

"What no classroom number in this town?"

"Have a good day." Her smile had finally dropped.

I gave her a 'yes I pissed you off' smile and walked out the door.

"I am glad that you could finally make it," the teacher said giving me a weary look.

"Well at least one of us is glad, I would rather be in bed sleeping right now."

A few people laughed at my sassy remark.

"Very nice, now take a seat miss Bloom."

"Ahh, he knows my name. We getting somewhere."

He put down his pen and walked over to me. "We are not going to have any problems on your first day now are we?"

"Of course not Sir! I shall definitely behave."

"I hope so."

I kept my mouth shut this time and made my way back to the end of the classroom, pulling out a chair in an abandoned corner.

A girl with a tight ponytail turned around and scowled at me. She showed much resemblance to the machine receptionist in the office. Ah, I see much potential in this girl in front of me. She will turn out much like her mother. Oh pride.

"What are you looking at Blondie?" I snapped.

She scowled at me again and turned around in her seat, leaving me with a smirk on my face,

That's what I thought.

As class ended I started making my way out of the room ignoring all the stares I was getting.

"Someone has a bit of an attitude," a guy with shaggy brown hair stated.

"Oh, really?" And someone looks like a sheep who hasn't been shaved in years."

"Oh touché. But this is the style mademoiselle, I am sorry if it does not please you."

"Apology not accepted."

He smirked.

My eyes wondered about him, trying to figure out what role he played in this small little town. Along with his long shaggy brown hair he had bright green eyes, a cheeky smile and covered in tattoos.

Ah, those fun days of school, multiplied by the fact that she is thrown into it through no choice of her own, in a place she didn't choose and of course she is going to stick out in a place so small they probably everything about her before she arrived.
And I think I would have "attitude" too if I were uprooted without so much as asking my opinion about it.
Moving along smoothly, getting to know more about the characters and new ones appearing. All good so far.

Strange request throwing me into your story like this, but it didn't impact my opinion at all. I can relate so much to Cecelia, I couldn't stand my school after I moved I was like what the hell.
Great work I will definitely continue reading once I have more time,
With love,
