Little Red Riding Hood

"Go on red! Please go and give your granny this box of chocolates. She really deserves them after what you put her through," said Mrs. Riding.

"Nah! I think I'll pass, yeah?" said Red.

"No you are not going to pass! You are going to do as I say. You are going to your granny's house right NOW and you are going to give her this box of chocolates and do you know what? You are going to apologize for yesterday."

"Wha 'ever a 'right? Like yeah...." Red said as she got up from her seat and walked out of the house slamming the door behind her.

As Red walked through the dark wood she felt as if she was being followed. She suddenly felt scared. She forgot about the fact that she was a violent hoodie and whispered, "H-H-Hello? wh--who's there"

"It's me, Wolfie! What happened to your voice?" a familiar voice said.

"Aww,it's you! I was like messing around."

" So what you doing out here?" Wolfie asked.

"Remember yesterday when we pranked my grand ma?" Red said.

"Yeah! That was the bomb!" Wolfie barked.

"Well she went like,manic and my mom is making me go apologize!"

"Man that's ruff! Hey! Is that chocolates you have there?"

"Yeah! You thinking the same thing I'm thinking?"

"I think I am dawg!" Wolfie yelled.

So instead of going to Red's granny's house they hid under the largest tree in the wood. What a sweet ending!

I find this modern play on an old theme entertaining and well written. It seems you could carry on with more "Red and Wolfie" escapades if you wanted to.
