Rebirth

Rebirth

A Poem by Angeliki Largatzis

The ashes, they scattered
Amongst overgrown grass,
Atop of the withered flowers revival.

The ashes, they carried the breeze
What of the fire,
That had once died down -
Stating an abandonment
Shy of words to express.

Born of knowledge,
A destiny accepted
The earth got carried away,
By ashes that knew not of the ruin.

Only to be reborn -
Within the atmosphere,
Adorning our rebirth.
