Hearts bleed

This is a poem written about the 20 year struggle I have had to face trying to reach my dreams.

Ones heart bleeds.
As one falls to there knees.
Not knowing when to open,
Or went to give up.

Yet time passes,
As one struggles,
To reach their goal.

Never getting a glace.
Not even a chance.
To share their gift.
Instead their heart,
Is left with a rift
Torn within.

Who knows maybe,
One day they will be.
Even if it sets them free.
