The fool again

This is a poem about pain and the loss of a love.

I know the story,
It's written all over your face.
I know there is a secret that,
you have been hiding.

It's what leaves me the,
fool all over again.
How was I to know,
I thought you was my friend.

But it's my heart that you have bent.
You never gave me the chance,
to show you how much
that I had loved you.

If only I could turn back the time.
Now I know I should of seen it coming,
I should of seen the signs.
Now I am left feeling like the fool again.
