To Hold a Heart

To Hold a Heart

A Poem by Angelica Marie
"

A quick poem I made about love

"

To have a heart

The most precious gift

To let it go

The greatest sin

For a heart to hold

Is special and rare

But you can’t keep two

You have to share

So give your heart

In return of one

And created will be

The sweetest love

And with a ring

A promise made

God’s hands unite

No longer two

But one

Together for life

Because to have a heart

The most precious gift

To give it back

A selfish wish

I liked it until the last line... That did not feel like the end to such an optimistic view of love. Liked the other 99%! :-)
Be well.
