Peace and War

Peace and War

A Poem by Angelica H

She sits on the dock
Watching the waves roll in
Each crash so synchronized
Like the hands on a clock

The Sun is beaming
Sending hot kisses across her skin
The trees sway from a gentle breeze
Across the water this is gleaming

That serenity ends
Here rolls in the storm
Not the external one
But the internal one she's been trying to defend

Watching the peaceful waves soothe her exhausted eyes, yet she rages war within herself, hahaha AMAZING!!!! I really like this one. Well penned.
