Watching you go with no choice but goodbye

Leaves an infliction on my weary heart

Haunted by rejection and soulless lies

Allows my faith and hope in me to part

I struggle to continue down this path

The path you led me on for many years

I feel this gloominess and sense of wrath

That has caused many aches and many tears

But living each day without your presence

Has taught me things each and every day

Never possess a mindset of vengeance

But for those who brought pain to you just pray

I'll hold the memories and hold them tight

Since that is all that remains from this fight
