Mother

Mother

A Poem by Angelic_Starchild

Its easy to take something fore-granted when you're born with it.

Mother

By. The Angelic Starchild

Millions of me come and go...

Only you stay--you endure

Trees reaching slowly for the precipice

Hovering above my blind eyes; forgive us

Everything that we have taken you will never get back

Resolution unknown, but still you're silent

Eternal revolutions are your only movement

Atrocities committed on your surface unseen.

Remind me why we have you mother

Tell me we haven't forgotten

Have we?
