The Aimless Verse Pt. 2

This represents one of my favorite ways to write. Its called The Aimless Verse because when it was written, there was no direction, I simply began to write words that were at the precipice of my mind.

Pinned down to the bed, doctors ready to take the scalpel

Cut deep into my brain, unravel the mysteries of my mind.

The cut's deep but beyond belief there’s no blood

You see? Only galaxies... Stars, suns, and moons

 

Limitlessness, a staircase of endlessness

Higher than a thousand Mount Olympus's

With emphasis on that which is blank and unborn

This is--beauty, unscathed, untorn.

 

It is--impossible, possible, simultaneously in and out of our dimension

Unbelievably, it is easily comprehensive

Yet so easily, it is unfathomably beyond our comprehension

The docs can't comprehend it, control it or bend it.

 

The docs scrambled... My mind? Unscrambled

Standing still, still spilling the depths of outer space from my cranium

Elements? Unobtainable, freedom. Distilled, my heart becomes gold, my skin, titanium.

Beyond all control... now I'm feared.
