Shadow GirlA Poem by Devilish_LightManny Teens these days feel this way.
Come dance with me,
In the shadows of many, Don't worry about an audience, They don't care much for the shadow girl. Why the sad face? This pain is not yours, Nor are the tears or the puddles at your feet, This blood belongs to the shadow girl. She plays a perfect song, Don't worry about celebrating or paying attention, She makes a mistake in a poem, Go glare and yell, punish the shadow girl. Do you see it now? This happiness is yours, The fact of you being celebrated, for right or wrong you have the crowd, Yet there is no one for the shadow girl. Now you understand, She tries her best and never gives up, But no one congratulates her, No one notices this poor little shadow girl. © 2010 Devilish_LightAuthor's Note
