From the inside

Feeling like you're about to break down is not fun

I've never felt so alone

No one seems to understand

The pain I feel inside

No one seems to care

That everyday I hurt 

But I put on a brave face

And be that shoulder for anyone who needs it

But what about me?

What about a shoulder for me?

I ask for leeway

And they throw a fit

Say passive aggressive things

To make me feel like s**t

They say they understand

But in the end they don't

One day

This pain will push me 

Over the edge

This pain 

That comes from the inside

This physical pain

That tears and claws at my insides

It will push me to the breaking point

And I will break

But who will be there to catch me

When I fall?

No one

No at all 

So I sit here

All alone

Silently suffering

No ears to listen

No shoulder to lean on

Just me and my pain

Alone again

I think this poem is good and I can really relate to it. I think sometimes people dont realise that just because you provide strength for them doesnt mean you always have that strength for yourself and they just expect you to pull yourself together. However, this doesnt always mean they dont care it can just be that they dont understand that once you have handed out your strenght to those around you what is left for you? I can imagine what you are going through and this poem expresses those feelings very clealry. Nice write!
