Will I?

This is actually inspiration from the song Will I from the Broadway show Rent

Upon listening to the song 'Will I' from the soundtrack to Rent

I used to find myself wondering, asking the same questions

 

"Will I lose my dignity?

Will someone care?

Will I wake tomorrow, from this nightmare?"

 

Three powerful questions that could make even the toughest guy crumble

Singing along with that song, brings tears and past pains

So many questions arise again

So many answers never spoken

I know they will never be answered

Yet it does not stop the tears flowing down as the song plays

The pain is strained in my voice as I try to sing along

 

"Will I lose my dignity?

Will someone care?

Will I wake tomorrow, from this nightmare?"

 

Three powerful questions

Three answers no one can give me....

Truly a sad thought and feeling, not just for me

For anyone who has ever asked themselves....these questions

Some questions need to be answered. Your three questions are very important. When you go into a relationship blindly. Can find a disappointed ending. I like this poem. A lot of good wisdom in this outstanding poem.
