Chapter Three- A midnight love

Darius followed her, smiling as she led him by the hand, he couldn't help but smile as happily, This has to be fate or something, there's no way this can be happening to me. As she led him to the stairs he couldn't help but notice her backside, then blushed slightly when he realized he was staring at her a*s and quickly looked away not wanting to be caught looking

 

lleana didn't even notice he was staring at any part of her body but she did have a feeling which caused her to chuckle a little

     "You know the only bad thing about this apartment is there is no bedrooms for the bottom loft.....but in the upstairs one there are probably three or four"

 

She said just to make conversation as she led him up the stairs. She reached the door and walked in. The loft upstairs was similar to the one downstairs except this one had a lot of blue colors while the downstairs one had a mix of colors. She led him through the living room which was set up the same way and walked towards another set of stairs, that led to all the bedrooms. She led him up those set of spiriling stairs, and came to a stop at the top.

There was a little reading section that was all carpeted and the ceiling had windows where you could see clearly into the sky. There were three doors,  two of them to the left of the reading section, almost seeming close together.

     "That's the bathroom"

She said pointing to the door at the end of the hall on the right. She then led him to the first door, which was one bedrooms. They both were located on the roof, so the first thing that was seen was the open space full of windows. The sky was clearly seen, and there was a little area where you could go on the roof and stare up at the stars. There was one big king size bed near the window, and across was a walk in closet

"This is where you'll be sleeping. My room is practically the same. And right next to yours so if you need something just let me know. Also our window's connect so if you see me outside don't be alarmed or anything"

 

Darius had to do all he could not to have his jaw fall open as she took him upstairs into the upper loft of her apartment, This place is huge, I can't believe she lives here all by herself it must be lonely.

When they reached the floor with the bedrooms he nodded each time she pointed something out, inhaling sharply in awe when she said the room he'd be staying in,

   "Wow lleana I don't know what to say . . ."  He gave her hand a squeeze, "Thank you so much, this is amazing."

 

"Your welcome"

    lleana smiled, a little taking back by how in awe he was at her place.

"There are places bigger than mine....can you imagine that?" she chuckled lightly and squeezed his hand back gently

"Hmm....well is there anything else I can get you?"

 

Darius shook his head,

    "That can't be possible, this place is, just, wow."  

He looked back at her and smiled, before he kissed her cheek,

    "I'm fine lleana, thank you.  You've done everything I can ask of you."  

He moved slowly to the window to look at the night sky, lightly pulling lleana's with him, but not hard enough that he was forcing her if she didn't want to follow him,

   "The sky looks so beautiful, I don't get to see it very often normally; just to busy."

 

 "Yeah well it is"

lleana chuckled, and smiled back at him.

   "Alright, just trying to be a good hostess" She followed him to the window and stood next to him "Yeah, I know what you mean" she sighed lightly.

 

She just then rememebered something and let go of his hand for a moment.

  "It's better when it's dark" she said as she walked toward the light switch and turned it off. The room was dark for a moment but then the lights from both the moon and stars lit up the room.

 

"See?" she said walking back towards him. The light slightly reflected off of her as well, causing a slight glow around her

Darius glanced at her when she went and turned the light off, then looked back at the sky as the room went dark,

   "Oh wow that is better . . ."

He turned to say something to lleana, but his words stuck in his throat when he saw her in the moonlight, She's beautiful.  He tried to say something to her, but his words failed him as he could do nothing but start at the seductive image the moonlight turned her into.

 

"Yep told you"

lleana smiled, now standing next to him. She stared out the window, blushing slightly as she notices him staring at her

  "What is it?"

She asked turning her head to face his, her eyes sparkling, causing the green to stand out more than blue due to the moonlight. Instead of their usual blue green, her eyes were more like a crystal green now.

 

Darius blinked slowly, then snapped out of his daze when she spoke to him,

  "Um . . . nothing lleana, its just that . . . you look beautiful . . ."

He blushed slightly, but never stopped starring into her , a few stars slightly visible in their crystal green color, drawing him in as he slid his hand into hers again.

 

Darius smiled as she squeezed his hand,

   "No thank you is necessary lleana, I was speaking the truth," he softly cupped her cheek in his free hand, "You are truly stunning, more beautiful than anyone I have ever seen before and that goes beyond just your appearance; your personality, your attitude only heighten your already natural beauty."  

Darius smiled softly as he slowly moved his thumb, caressing her face gently,

   "I like you lleana, very much."

 

lleana smiled softly at him, closing her eyes for just a moment, enjoying his touch upon her cheek. When he spoke again she opened her eyes slowly still smiling softly at him

  "I like you too Darius"

She said softly tilting her head lightly to kiss his thumb

 

A indescribable joy flooded into him when lleana spoke, to the point that he almost felt giddy.  He pulled her close and kissed her softly, his hand sliding to the back of her head.  He held the kiss for only a brief moment, then pulled back again,

   "Ok I think we should both go to bed now, before we let things go any further; we decided to take it slow."  He lightly kissed her forehead,

 

"Good night lleana, sleep well

 

She kissed him back just as softly, her hand resting on his arm gently.

"Yeah....probably should"

She said softly as she pulled back as well. She chuckled softly at the kiss to her forehead, as she moved her hand back up to stroke his cheek gently

 

"Good night Darius, sleep well" she said before pulling away completely and leaving to go to her room

Darius sighed as she walked out of the room, starring after her long after she'd closed the door behind her.  He walked over to the bed and fell back into its soft comforter, Wow how is this happening to me?  This is like something out of a movie, first I find a beautiful girl to help me in my time of need, offer to help me get back into Harvard, and then she even likes me!  He laughed softly to himself as he closed his eyes, How can things get any better?  He drifted off to sleep, his last thoughts of holding lleana in his arms as they watched the stars together.

 

lleana walked into her room, sighing softly as she plopped down in her bed. She stared up at her ceiling thinking about how her day started off so crappy but then ended up so wonderful. Eventually her eyes started to shut by themselves as she fell quickly into a deep sleep.
