Chapter Four- Glowing eyes

Melinda came out went in the shower thinking about what Erin had said. She shook her head and chuckled. “Erin is crazy.” She gets out of the shower, and wrap her bathrobe around her. She opens the door, and looks down the hall and Jeffery reading a bed time story to Nasya. She smiled, as she put on her night gown. She walked down the hall toward Nasya’s room, and walked in.

 

“Goodnight mommy.” Nasya said, holding her tiger in her arms, as she slowly falls asleep. “Good night hunny.” Melinda said as she walked toward her daughter. She kissed her goodnight, as did Jeffery as they both left the room. “You coming to bed hun?” Jeffery said as he walked toward the bedroom. “In a minute Jeff.” Melinda said walking down the stairs. She goes into the kitchen and cleans up. All of a sudden she hears a growl outside the back door. Melinda looks over, but nothing was there. She shook her head, thinking she was just tired. She turned off the kitchen lights, and headed upstairs. At midnight, Melinda awoke to hearing what it sounded like crying. She instantly got out of bed, and ran walked fast down the hall way. “Nasya…Nasya are you alright?!” she calls out worried.

 

As she got toward the door, she saw a pair of glowing blue eyes and heard growling at her. She gasped and stopped. She yells Nasya’s name. “NASYA!!!!!” The glowing eyes seem to come closer to her, then she saw her daughter run out the room, crying. She instantly picked her up and ran back to her bedroom. Jeffery woke up and saw his wife and daughter run in the room, he got up quickly and looked and saw the blue eyes coming toward them. He quickly slammed the door, and put his back against the door, keeping whatever it is out. “What the f**k was that?!!” he said. Melinda pants as she rock back in forth with Nasya trying to calm her daughter down. “I don’t know Jeff….I don’t know.”
