How can you walk away from this so soon?

How can you wash your hands of what we could've had?

I never said it would be forever,

I only said I wanted to try.

How can you act as if we had nothing special?

How can you be so blind to this feeling?

I don't understand,

I don't even want to try.

How can you pretend everything is alright?

How can you pretend that we're nothing more than friends?

I can feel this pain over and over,

I can barely see through the tears.

How can you act as if you never felt anything towards me?

How is it you never wanted to try?
