Its funny that you worked so hard to fix the damage my heart went through,

Just to shatter it and turn it to dust again.

Its funny that I fell so hard,

When you didn't even try.

Its funny that all you want is a friendship,

and all I want is so much more.

I laugh at my naivity,

My complete stupidity.

I trusted you so quickly,

That I forgot to hold my self back.

I forgot my promise to myself,

That I wouldn't let this happen.

Its funny that now instead of smiling when I sleep,

I have to fight back the tears of pain and sorrow.

Its actually quite funny,
