Defenseless

 

I stand naked in the sun.

All that I own and control contained

In this singular, thin-skinned vessel.

My only belongings:

My Pride

My Hope    ~    My Sorrow

~    My Self    ~

My Virtue    ~        My Fear

My Life

My soft body, My concrete soul

My weak mind, My strong will

My wounded heart.

I stand naked in the sun

And finally feel whole.
