Devoid of ColourA Poem by TJA world without hope, without inspiration...I see nothing but grey clouds; Rain falling, failing, finding mud and dirt Beneath bare feet. It is all a palette of Black and white; No sorrow; no happiness- Nothing but empty grey clouds. This is a world that does not have colour; A world of blank canvases And hidden muses; A world so devoid of life It is unsure
where it began And if it will ever end. The pen hovers, the hand slows- And then, a flash of colour Flickers across this colourless world. The pen strikes, The hand moves- And the grey clouds dissolve Into swirls of blue And the brilliance of colour. © 2013 TJ |
