The song for my silent roomA Poem by Girl With A Pen
Waking up early each morning
The silence throughout the emptiness is exploring Through each quite room I hate the sound of my own sighing My whole life seems to be bad timing But I promise I'll be fine Even the silence in the room can hear me lying And then I ask Is it all even worth trying? I'm not sure anymore I'll be fine Somewhere along the line Yes, I'll be fine But not for a long time Time and another time again I let people in Just to leave once more So I ask myself... Is this what life is for? The only thing that seems to stay Is the silence they leave behind And when I'm alone again I make friends With the quietness But in do good time I'll be fine On my own With the silence I stand alone When the door is closed And the emptiness fills the room I'm all alone Just on my own With the silence that fill the room
