That Gay Christian

I apologize for the language :/

He smiles at you with love

Like Jesus he cares for you

He never thought to judge

He dresses nicely

The one he loves by his side

He smiles wide

To show his Christian pride

Expensive wristband

A shake of the hand

The spread of God's word

Which he loves and understands

He carries a Bible in his hand

Gay and smiling he stands

He is a beloved man 

Some may judge

Some may harass

But he smiles at God

For he knows it's not too bad

God made him just the way he is

Gay as in HAPPY

So don't be a B***H

He wasn't judged for being gay

He was judged in having a say

In the word of God 

That most Christians thought to be odd

Terminology is misused

Hardcore Christians can bully and abuse 

A Homosexual or straight

All they feel is hate

As a Christian I ask

Don't do God's job

And judge a person's mask

Just because they may seem 

Like what you assume is sin

Doesn't mean you can judge

What God's job has always been

Author's Note

I am a Christian and I support Gay marriage completely! Though I have a low tolerance for judgmental Christians. They only created hate and Atheists. Instead of simply saying, "I do not agree with your life style but I love you anyway" They spaz out and judge them, saying they will burn in hell. Just by saying that, they have created a Sin. Now there is no sin greater then another sin. Cheating on your wife is the same as murdering someone in God's. Anyway I am getting off topic. I made this because there are Christians out there who say you cannot be gay and Christian. Well....I think there would be a lot more gay Christians out there if they didn't feel so judged. Don't you? (Any hate comments will be deleted. If you do not like Gay marriage then do not read my poem)

This literally gave me goosebumps! You are so right. I always go back to the word EQUAL. We are equal in God's eyes. Look up the meaning people. Not "equal" with your hate filled exceptions or with an asterisk and some lame reasoning. You put this out there very well.

I agree with the poem. My step-brother is gay and been with his mate for 40 years. He is a christian also. I don't believe God or Jesus would look down at a good person because of his preference in love. I believe we will be rated your our deeds and actions. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
