Poetic Dread

Poetic Dread

A Poem by A.G.

I find myself once again in a poetic dread
frantic words collide into sentences,
shifting and sliding silently in my head
emotions swim against the surface-
the sky bending,
as i try desperately to come up with a reasonable ending...
i long to tell you my feelings through scribbled down words,
but my greatest gift has now become my greatest curse...
baffled eyes of an uneasy poet,
love dripping down to her fingertips,
as she tries to bestow it..
haven't you noticed how i've gone mad?
sharing with you the poetic flow which naturally grows from my head...
maybe the hold you have on my soul
Is just you reaching through a shapeless hole,
as i beg you to make me whole again...

Am on the same ride😩....Heart commands me something and when it's scribbled
on pages by me, I see I've ended up with something badly unsatisfying....a boon feels like turned into a curse indeed...but maybe at the next twirl we'll get the grip back on writing of exactly what we feel or want to say!! Chillax! dear Angel. ;)
