Lose You

The moment was special, so special to you,

our lips pressed against our insecurities and for once we felt new

once lingering, now caressing my scars,

the passion between us, never afar

and your fiery lips burned with a cold fire-

in the depths of understanding, 

lies ones deepest desires …

for once, my heart is undisturbed-

beats with a longing and flows with kind words

I swear I never felt this way, 

impatient for the upcoming day

Its not you I fear, but of my own emotions-

unpredictable and changing like a raging blue ocean...

I apologize for my absence, for misunderstanding,

I know I am selfish, I should be less demanding

I am broken my love- you fell in love with this ruin,

you danced with the devil to his mesmerizing music

I am trying to give you my all, but fear prevails,

my true colors will soon blossom and the truth will unveil 

this is not about love

because "love" is inexistent,

this is about fatal attractions and our existence 

I'm gonna lose you

because I lose everything I cherish,

And in the hands of my love, their you begin to perish...

so tonight we take flight-souls unfolding underneath the covers,

as we fade and deny love like two faceless lovers...

It's really an appealing and emotion filled poem, Angel.... we do get surprised when someone accepting our ill behaviour loves us more than we can do to him/her....the moment they care bout us feels like that's gifted from heaven.
But when we find ourselves realising bout their love that leaves us numb in thinking "am I the apt one for him/her?"
At least I feel that way! ;)
"I am trying..........truth will unveil"...you made a fine write this time...I shall say the most fine of yours by far!
