Fallen Angels

Fallen Angels

A Poem by A.D. Wilson

Pale, white flesh

Shattered wings

Six angels lay

Upon the ground

Were you cast

From heaven's choir?

Was your music

Not pleasing to their ears?

Your wings are damaged

Beyond repair

Don't worry, my friends

You don't need wings here

You can live as mortals

Here on Earth

Playing your music

For the ears of humans

You may not know

How special you are

How amazing and wonderful

How freakish and intense

But I love you

Just as you are

Please, please

Don't ever change

Author's Note

A.D. Wilson
A ramble dedicated to the German band Rammstein and their song Engel (Angel). I was going to write the entire thing about Flake Lorenz (I love you, man!), but decided to include everyone since they are all so handsome, talented, and amazing.
