Lunacy

Lunacy

A Poem by A.D. Wilson

Oh beautiful moon

So full and bright

Illuminating

The darkest night

Mysterious rays

Fall upon me

Bring out the beastie

How can this be?

My friends all worry

And feel so strange

They act so funny

What caused this change?

My neighbor's outside

Picking daisies

Oh moon, you bring out

All the crazies!

I fight the urge to

Run through the park

Naked and laughing

I howl and bark

Instead, I go home

And close the shade

I hope the full moon

Will quickly fade

I pace and fidget

I cannot sleep

It makes me hungry

To count some sheep

My inner wolf howls

"You're such a boor!"

I strip off my clothes

And open the door...

Just some random crap from me. Everyone at work last night was acting weird. I blame the full moon.
