The Angel Without WingsA Poem by Angel Without WingsShe is an angel, The first thing they said. Skin like moonlight, Hair like the sun, Eyes like the stars, But where are her wings?
She is an angel,
The first thing they said. Skin like moonlight, Hair like the sun, Eyes like the stars, But where are her wings? She is no angel, Looks can deceive. Voice to tell lies, Smiles to disarm, Hands to manipulate, Does she like that wall around her? I am an angel, The first thing they said. My skin like moonlight, My hair like the sun, My eyes like the stars, But I have no wings. I am no angel. My looks do deceive, My voice tells lies, My smiles disarm, My hands manipulate, Yes I do like this wall that I built. It protects the angel inside of me. © 2013 Angel Without WingsAuthor's Note
