Lovers In The Forest Of Twilight Dreams

Lovers In The Forest Of Twilight Dreams

A Poem by Brandon Jursich
"

Have you ever been in love

"
Love lost and new love gained, I do miss your soft skin and your eccentric soul, memories of our time shared together chained me down for the longest of times to the darkest crevaces of my mind as regrets would frequently settle in. With you I reached a point in my journey where I can stop and see the stars and where I can lay down my guard and put it to rest if even just for a moment. Nature settled in to my skin by the light of the moon and in my vulnerable state I could breathe at last and appreciate the beauty of the Earth as she radiates around my body like a fresh summer mist on a cool windy night under a blanket of twilight . And your warm body as I held your hand in mine drew me closer to your even warmer spirit and in harmony we kissed under the light of a dark summer sky and it's glow from the moon ever so pale coupled with those bright shining stars to show us the beauty far beyond what we are only just sharing together in this state of forever on this night. In closing the memories of that night do not leave me filled with regret anymore , for now it only paves a vision I dream of for finding love like that again someday....
